Evan recognized the enormous shortage of safe, reliable truck parking across the country and saw an opportunity to approach the problem differently. Instead of relying only on building new parking facilities, Truck Parking Club helps property owners turn available space into reservable truck parking, connecting drivers with places to park when and where they need them.
But Evan’s story is about more than finding parking spaces. It’s about seeing opportunity where others may not, being willing to enter an industry without having every answer, and continuing to move forward when building something new gets difficult.
Throughout the conversation, Evan talks about the importance of perseverance in entrepreneurship. Building a business requires the ability to adapt, solve problems, learn quickly, and keep going. Those are also qualities he sees every day in professional truck drivers—many of whom may already have the mindset needed to become entrepreneurs themselves.
Evan also shares why purpose matters when creating a business. For him, success isn’t simply about building something valuable enough to sell. It’s about creating something you believe in, enjoying the work you’re doing, and making a positive difference for the people you serve.
