Here’s the Scoop #52

At the end of the day, we are all stakeholders in the learning process. We have to actively engage the learner into their own learning. Start and end each session with a conversation by asking reflective questions to involve them in their learning. Communicate how important they are to the safety culture and invite them in.

Use example questions such as,

What would you like to learn about this topic?
What did you learn today that you did not know before?
What support do you need from me to help you learn?
Benefits
  • Builds a community of learners who have a stake in their own learning
  • Invites learners to become active participants in the learning process
